Registration is continuing from now through May 16th for the Rocky Mountain Advanced Computing Consortium’s (RMACC) 15th annual High Performance Computing Symposium, set for May 20-22 at the Wolf Law Center on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder.
A record number of industries – led by Diamond sponsor AMD and longtime major sponsors Intel, Dell and AWS – are supporting the multi-track event, which brings together faculty, researchers, industry leaders and students to learn about the latest HPC trends and innovations.
Keynote Speakers are Ana Hunsinger, Vice President of Community Engagement at Internet2, and Dr. Mike Klymkowsky, a national leader in the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom. Klymkowsky will open the Symposium at 1 p.m. on May 20th with his Keynote: “Evolving education in an AI World.”
Hunsinger will open Day 2 activities on the 21st with her 9 a.m. Keynote: “Lessons from Community-Driven Cyberinfrastructure Strategies to Broaden Institutional Participation.”
The Symposium offers a wide array of presentations from industry and educational leaders as well as panel discussions and tutorials. It is a key part of the RMACC’s mission to facilitate widespread effective use of HPC in the 9-state Intermountain Region, home to the RMACC’s 40 member institutions.
Several sessions are designed for students and newcomers to HPC, providing the opportunity to learn about HPC careers, and students are able to register at a greatly reduced rate thanks to the generous sponsor support.
