BOULDER, CO – The Rocky Mountain Advanced Computing Consortium’s (RMACC) 14th annual High Performance Computing Symposium has been set for May 21-23 at the Wolf Law Center on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder.
Recognized as one of the nation’s leading regional events on High Performance Computing, the RMACC Symposium brings together faculty members, researchers, industry leaders and students to discuss HPC trends and innovations.
“The RMACC is a collaboration among academic and research institutions throughout the 9-state intermountain region, and this Symposium is a key part of our mission to facilitate widespread effective use of High Performance Computing,” said Becky Yeager, RMACC executive director and Symposium coordinator. “The Symposium gives us the opportunity to share the latest trends more broadly.”
This year’s Keynote Speakers will be Al Anderson, Chief Information Officer at Salish Kootenai College in Montana, and Dr. Kayla G. Sprenger, Assistant Professor in Chemical and Biological Engineering at CU-Boulder. Anderson also serves as a member of the board for the Minority Serving Cyberinfrastructure Consortium, and Sprenger is a faculty member in CU-Boulder’s Biomedical Engineering Program where her laboratory work focuses on infectious disease modeling.
Symposium tracks will feature presentations from industry and educational leaders on Cloud Computing, User Facilitation, HPC System Administration, and Secure Computing. A wide array of panel discussions and tutorial sessions also are planned.
Registration will open in mid-March but proposals for Track Presentations can be submitted now to email@example.com. Entries for the popular Student Poster Competition also can be submitted at any time to https://hpcsymposium.rmacc.org/poster-competition.
