Posters summarize projects, information, research, etc., concisely and attractively to help publicize it and generate discussion. The poster is usually a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs, pictures, and other presentation formats. Accepted posters will be presented in a poster session at RMACC; authors are present while other participants can view the presentation and interact with them. The maximum presentation space for posters is 3.5 ft (1.1 m) wide by 4 ft (1.2 m) tall. Proposals should be short abstracts that describe the work to be presented. Proposers are also encouraged to include a preliminary mockup of the poster presentation. The goal is to advance the presentation of work in the poster.
The Poster Competition is for graduate and undergraduate students interested in high-performance computing. This competition enables students to share the results of projects that they have performed, while also engaging in a competition for the best posters.
